General Info, Refund Policy, class Cancellation policy

All classes meet once a week for 8 weeks and are 45 minutes long. Competition obedience and agility classes are one hour long. There are no make up classes if you are absent for any reason.  Make up classes will be held only if class is cancelled.  Please note that our neighbor to the right, Metro Stone, is NOT dog friendly.  Please do not park in the driveway or in front of this business or let your dog potty in front of this business, regardless of the day or hour.   Potty area is across the lot from our garage door.  It is a small gravel area. The mailbox in the potty area has bags that may be used to pick up solid waste.  Please pick up after your dog and deposit waste in the dumpster by our garage door.

All classes are Pre-Registration.  Fees are $160 for each 8 week session.  We offer a 10% discount on your first obedience class session if your dog is neutered or adopted from a rescue or shelter.  A copy of the paperwork must accompany your class application to take advantage of this discount. There will be a people only orientation held prior to your first class to answer questions and give you information.  Please leave the dog home.
For safety reasons:  High heels, backless shoes, flip flops, sandals, etc. are NOT allowed on the training floor
.  Please wear sneakers.

Please make sure to use flea and tick protection on your dog.

Immunizations required:

Puppy KPT---1 dose of DA2P+PV

Beginner class----  at least 2 doses of DA2P+PV if the dog is 5 months old, 3 doses if older.  Rabies not required until the dog is at least 6 months of age.  Lepto, Corona, Lyme and Bordatella are not required.

Females in season (heat) are not permitted in Puppy, Beginner or Beginner 2 classes.  The handler is encouraged to attend and observe so that the dog may be instructed in the current week's lessons at home.  Please bathe the dog before returning to class.

REFUND POLICY

There are NO refunds or credits for unused classes after orientation is held if you decide you do not wish to attend classes.  If you have extenuating circumstances, such as yourself or the dog becoming severely ill, please do contact us. We will work with you to issue a credit towards another session.

CLASS CANCELLATION POLICY

Classes are cancelled for severe snow/ice storms/unsafe driving conditions in winter.  Whenever classes are cancelled, a notice will be posted prominently on the website, usually by 4:30 pm.  Please check the website prior to coming to class if you have any doubts.  In an emergency situation (instructor stuck in traffic, etc) all students will be telephoned.  Please make sure you provide a telephone number where you can be reached prior to class, and please make sure to check your messages.
